Before I awake I am with my Younger. She wears freedom like a scarf and euphoria like a crown. Although she is holding my hand, I am doing more of the pulling than she is trying to push forward, while she notices all of the rocks, trees and crevices. She does not know I am trying to find my Older, the queen of the regime. I instantly see her, glistening with beauty and abundance. “Oh, hey there”, my Older says with flawless character. Younger and  my heart is pounding. Older is standing right next to a deep well, I don’t know which one of us she’ll push down first. “Here, this is for you”, she hands me a beautiful red rose., and  I return a wide smile. My racing heartbeat slows. Then, Older begins to stare down at her shoes, doing this for such a long time that I turn to stare down at them too. “Do  you like these?” Older asks. I can feel my head nodding though I do not agree. “Try them on”, she says starting to take them  off. I begin to follow her stride when Younger arm abruptly stops me. “Don’t”, she harshly whispers. With the maturity she has, Older politely waits for me to take off my own shoes. “This is just going to be a waste of time”, my Younger says urgently. My Older narrows her eyes at Younger dangerously, then motions to me. “Hey, how about you take her shoes off too”, she smirks. I instantaneously grab the feet of Younger pulling her down, and throwing her shoes into the well, ending with an abrupt splash. Younger bites her trembling lips, and a stab of guilt fills my heart but fades quickly. “Now put these on”, Older says handing me her pair of shoes. After covering my naked feet, I turn to stare at their wonder just as Older was transfixed by it,  but strangely enough, I do not see it. I turn around to seek help from Older but in her place is just thin air. I start walking back when I notice a girl who looks identical to me. “Who are you?” I warily ask. “I am Younger” she replies. She notices my confused expression and continues, “when you took away my shoes, I had nothing else to use to cover my feet except your shoes”, she lets out an exhausted sigh, “in that way, I have become you”. “If you have become me, then who have I become?”, I question. Younger guides me to the well’s edge and points downward. In the waters reflection, I see Older. “What!”, I exclaim in shock,  “Younger take me back home!”, I sob. “No, I can’t do that for I don't know the way home”, she nonchalantly replies. “Why?”, I ask. Younger looks at me straight in the eye. “You never gave me a chance to look at the the rocks, trees, and crevices”, she says turning her back towards me. In a state of hysteria, I dunk my head in the cold refreshing water in the well, to wake up. Opening my eyes the sun’s rays greet me. As of next time, I will make sure Younger and I travel far to an enchanted village of fairies  and magic. Thank God for second chances.
