The day I go to xtreme air will be a miracle. I am 13 and deadly afraid of heights. Even if someone had forced me onto a trampoline I couldn’t jump. I wasn’t like most 13-year-old girls. I was born in Canada and ever since I moved to the USA I had been made fun of. It sucked but when I meet my friends who stood up for me I was happy. My friends after 3rd grade we have been friends ever since. “hey listen I am not going to go to xtreme air for the field trip.” I stated “why not?” questioned my best friend shelly. I had never told them I was afraid of heights. “it may come as a shock to you guys but… I am afraid of heights” I came out and said. “what? You’re kidding me right” stated shelly. “nope” “ ok so we can go to the Y.M.C.A I guess.” I thought that was the end of that until that day. “hey put this on” stated my other friend Stacy. “ok” I said as I put on the mask. Which I was not ok with. “why do I need this” “there is a surprise there we did for you ok” she said “ok” I said stepping onto the bus as Stacy guided me.
Within an hour is what Stacy said it took me to fall asleep because we weren’t going to the Y.M.C.A we were going to xtreme air. “ready” shelly and Stacy said together. “yes” I said as I took of the mask. I was excited but terrified. “come will you please try jumping on the trampoline.” “ok” I said excitedly. I began to jump and actually my nervous ness never came back my fear was gone. And I was able to enjoy myself. We went on to the court to play basketball it was a blast. I loved basketball and I was good at it I would always beat Shelly and Stacy. But now they had a chance I wasn’t allowed to jump unless it was to make a dunk. But I still figured a way out to win. Then we went to the doge ball section with not just us but other kids from our school. our team majorly beat the other team. After that me and my friends took me to the climbing wall I was so scared but I did it and made it to the top.
Next we went to the air bag freestyle jump pit I did a cool flip which I would have never done before. My friend’s had left me at this point. To meet with spencer and Dave. Their boyfriends to do a Jousting terminate the winners faced each other than the losers. I ended up watching it seemed to be fun though. After we finished jumping we ate some food Shelly’s boyfriend spencer paid for Shelly and him. Stacy’s boyfriend Dave paid for shelly, me and him. Dave had been friends with me since 2nd grade we made a deal where if he wasn’t dating and I wasn’t dating when we were both 10 we would date. His 10th birthday was the day before he and shelly started dating. So he promised he would make up for it by including me in stuff until I got a boyfriend. So him paying for my food made up for that. “these giant pretzels are good” Stacy stated “yep they are” the rest of agreed in unison. As we headed towards the buses Shelly and Stacy said by to their boyfriends. (unlike the rest of us the football players were able to stay as long as they wanted for at least 4 hours without paying more money. “that was so much fun don’t you think” Stacy stated “yep” I said looking back at the photos I took with my selfie stick. I will never forget the time I conquered the trampoline. “the adventure maybe over but we had fun right!!” I said excitedly “yep I guess.” Shelly said. When we were back in school a month after the xtreme air. “students we saw how much you liked xtreme air so the day before summer break we are going again!!” stated the announcements “the adventures not over yet!! Yaaay!!!” me, Shelly and Stacy shouted. “there will be another adventure again!!” I shared with the audience. Stay tuned!!
