Stealing The Invisible
On the 13th of some month
I had come from after-school
I got in the car, and my mother sat
there, quiet.
She had told me "We got broken into today, and yes, they took your laptop." At that point, I had a stream of emotions, angry, confused, but over all scared. I had heard the whole story.
Luckily, no one had been hurt physically, but the emotional pain was unbearable. Like stepping on a nail, or walking on glass. My own father had found them there. If they were armed, I am sure he wouldn't be with us right now. I pray to god for only one thing.
My Peace Of Mind.
