New Bestfriend?
I always had an adrenaline rush when I noticed this unhuman like creature with big teeth approaching me. Huge feet, about 8 foot tall and a grin that almost made me crap in my new denim pants. Sprinting, as I were in the kid's Olympics, my mom always knew to find me under the nearest tabletop. My fear of this over sized mouse always taunted me but Chuck E., from Chuck E Cheese was soon to became my new best friend.
I was about to cash in my tickets that I won on the Dancin' Diggin Dogg game that I played about a million times until my parents came over to my brother and I chanting,
"Darrion, you have a special guest here that wants to wish you happy birthday! Come on guys!"
I was as thrilled as my brother, like it was my birthday wish or something! My dimple nearly popped off my face as my eyes could barely blink while they got wide. Staring at the shadow that was appearing, my heart seemed to be beating like African drums. I thought it was one of our long lost cousins that were going to emerge from that long, dark walk way.
"I hope you're readyyyy!" My mom shouted.
The drumming in my heart started to die down. I began to blink rapidly as my eyes got smaller and smaller while my face sunk to the ground. All I noticed was two huge furry ears on top of this creatures head. I was blinking as if what I was seeing was going to change and appear differently. There was an enormous, big teeth, furry mouse with an extra slim, red, baby tee on and trousers that slightly covered its knees pacing towards my family. He was approching, waving his oversized hand but before he could get any closer, I jetted away from everyone near us, ducking and dodging all the games, children, parent, and other obstacles to find me a safe place; a table. The first table I glanced at was the first table I slid under as if I was a baseball player going into the home run plate or something. My mom was hot on my heels,
"Arie, Arie, its Ok. Its only Chuck E.!"
But while the tear rolled softly down my face, I knew Chuck E. would never be my best friend as it was planned.
