"One day there will be a chance that you will say that you love one person and really mean it, but every day one person is at least loving you now." - Me

I don't understand why most people in the world don't like people of the same sex to be in a relationship. I'm bisexual myself and people come up to me and start critizing me because i am, but they dont understand that I'm special in my own way just like other ppl, no matter who they are.

Where I live the main population is gay, lesbian and bi people. In front of my school there are even people writing signs saying "God hates America and Fags are not welcomed here!" I am getting so sick of it! This is making us not want to come out and actually be us.

The government has no right to make laws saying that gays can not be married. God and government does not mix people! Get it straight! Some of yur friends might actually be gay, lesbian or bi, and would u not be there friend because of it? If you would, then you are messed up and not worthy of their friendship.

The law used to say that black men and women were not a human beings, and they didn't count as a 'full' person in the US census during a time in our history, and we all know they were wrong!  The Bible says that it's ok to keep slaves, and that you should not be around a woman during that time of the month.  The Bible says that we shouldn't touch a 'pigskin' either, but if that 'law' still held true, football woudn't be the popular sport it is today.  I laugh when the Bible thumpers put out the abomination line.......they pull out that line because it suits their agenda, but they forget about all the other outdated items.  Stop letting the church brainwash you!

They put it on the front page because it's so popular and controversial, not because it's written well.

I completely agree with your whole comment, Aaroka (except being athiest, I'm a Christian but w/e). Your comment is right all the way through.

I completely agree with you! People always mistake my saying that I believe homosexuality is wrong as my saying I hate them for it. I don't. In fact a lot of gay guys are really cool. But I do NOT agree with their lifestyle choices (which it is; a CHOICE.)

i agree homosexuality is a sin unless you're not a christian. Other than that it should not be tolerated.

i love you

i hold homosexuality to be sin- i hope you know we all sin- but i'm not going to shut someone out of my life or totally disown them for it because i will forgive them. i think that the 'love the sinner, hate the sin' thing is something good to follow because even though our world is forgetting the 'hate the sin' part, we need to love the sinner still, not because of their sin though.

I think you're doing us all a favor by telling people how homosexuals actually feel.

You do realize that when the people on the Mayflower came here they were looking for Religious freedom, right? They didn't want people to tell them which religion to have. Just because you don't believe in a god doesn't mean you aren't religious, take it from an atheist. I do not believe in god, but Atheism is a religion. Religions such as and zoroastrianism are religions that do not denote a certain person as their "god". Before you try to give someone a history lesson on THEIR post maybe you should google it first, or perhaps that's too hard for you.

I support your cause, but not your grammar. Please, it sounds more profesional and helps to convince people that you care if write like you do: by capitilizing "I" and spelling out "you". I agree, though.

The article wasn't written that well, but you shouldn't bash the opinion because of it. I say, be who you want to be because you won't be able to live with yourself if you aren't .

First off, your title needs capitalization. Secondly, your grammar sucks. If you want to get your point across I think you can spare the extra time to write out the words 'people' and 'your'. And you need to check your spelling. It's atrocious.

I think everyone else said it well enough. I respect and agree with your opinion, but this isn't a text. This is an article, and if you expect to be taken seriously, you have to use proper grammar and a little more backing than "it's not fair, people should like who they like."

I agree. The author is at fault for not even proofreading her own article, and Teenink is also at fault for putting this on the front page, allowing for everybody to see this steaming pile of grammatical mess.
