Can you look me in the eyes?
Strain a glance at my brain,
Jump rope with my lies
Would you still say I’m sane?
Can you hear my silent screaming?
Tread through my head,
Insult me for violent dreaming
Are you sure I’m not dead?
Can you dismantle tangled thoughts?
Grind together my mind,
Further tighten the knots
Where do I draw the line?
wise I wear my Disguise
scheming but I appear Gleaming
afterthoughts become my Spots
Where is my Mask?
When you see
Am I up for the task
How can I be?
the only one that’s looking is me
