Cheer
Flight. A sensation every human being has dreamed of experiencing. A second of peacefulness amidst a chaotic world. Lightweight. A dare against the logic of gravity itself. As I fly through the air, time freezes and all stands still. The bitter smell of freshly cut grass on the football field as I gently breathe in and out of my nose. The faint sound of wind all around me as it softly touches my skin. Sunlight beaming down through the gloomy clouds, lighting up the dewy grass around me as I am in the air. A welcoming ambiance surrounds me. Undisturbable.

This poem describes how I used to feel every time I would fly in the air for cheer. Although, I am now too tall to fly and I really miss this feeling.
