Missing Piece
Waiting for you feels like an empty bowl of cereal trying to fill up.
Like letting my nails dry after just painting them,
And waiting for a dormant volcano to erupt.
Trying to get through first block chem.
Sitting for a package to arrive after just placing the order—
Useless, in every way, shape, and form.
Like in the winter, shaving a bunny’s fur,
Or like preparing months in advance for a miniscule storm.
Yet i sit everyday waiting for you to come home,
But I guess I’ll just have to wait.
Till the end i'll be alone,
I guess it's just my fate.
I’ll see you in a while
Even though it feels, I will never crack a smile
