Tha-thump. Tha-thump.
Yes, our heart still beats,
Through the rubble, broken glass, and pothole streets.
Tha-thump. Tha-thump.
The music still flows through our veins,
Because this broken heart can still swing and sway.
Tha-thump. Tha-thump.
We still know how to love,
And have learned that through hardships, we can rise above.
Tha-thump. Tha-thump.
Our heart will beat forever,
We will always weather the storm together.
