The painting on the wall is beautiful.
Speaking to us,
Showing us thoughts
We would never confess.
For fear.
We worry,
We wonder
What if we
Utter our thoughts?
What if we talk,
Spill our secrets.
Dangerous, dark
Disturbing.
Thoughts scarier
Than a thousand swords.
Thoughts hard,
Hard as diamonds.
But, like diamonds,
They sparkle.
Shining in the distance.
Our deepest hopes
Surrounded by our darkest fears
