Tired
I'm tired of opening up my mouth and telling people my life story.
I'm tired of making people worry.
I'm tired of letting people in.
I'm tired of having to bear it and grin,
while watching them walk away, leaving me taunted,
after they've gotten what they wanted.
But I don't want your sympathy,
I just want you to see the real me.
Because I'm tired of my long, midnight cries.
And I'm tired of being the one with tears in her eyes.
