Trapped
She was mad
The verge of despair was covered with dishonor
Society associated mynamewithhers
I was hopeless
I could find no refreshment anywhere
The rooms rumbled like an earthquake
Her last bloody glance, influenced by the a t m o s p h e r e,
Filled my name with a tone of demon- hate
With the sufferings of my soul, there is not a future
Worse than this present one
(Chapter 27, pg. 345-346, Jane Eyre)
