Treasure
Like a treasure chest holding a treasure
But it can’t be opened
Like a young child scared out of her mind
But she still hasn’t spoken
That one item holds it all
But not physically here on earth
Not many people understand
Just how much it’s worth
It holds the memories and experiences
Of someone so special who was taken
They left you with one single thing
But now that thing is broken
You might think that it’s the end
But you are very wrong
Even though it’s not whole anymore
Its significance is very strong
You have to understand
That though it’s gone actually
The person it reminds you of
Is still here spiritually
They will never leave you
No matter what takes place
Their spirit is still with you
Even when you can’t find a trace
