the falcon
my love for him
and his of me
bound us together for eternity.
a love so strong
it cannot die
will stay forever
like wind and sky.
but once upon a dreary night
the evil falcon flies
stole my precious love away
caught up in all its lies
I guess i was wrong
for it wasn't me to be
as really good as this
just for him and me.
but as for you and your only
you better watch the skies.
for right below the heavens
an evil falcon flies.

Thus the love
It dies
I really like your work. It speaks to the soul, in a way. I'm new to the site, and just worked up the courage to actually make an account. It's really empowering to see other people going through the same thing as me. It's always nice to know you're not alone. Seeing this, it's kind of like telling the little me that it's okay to cry. It's okay to weep. You don't have to pick up the broken pieces, you can let them be. Pain might make you grow, while it still tears you down. And, well, you're allowed to frown. Love is life, just as life is love. Learn to live, thus learn to love.
That's kind of what this says to me, on some weird, deep level that I didn't know existed before. I don't know how to explain it. It just sounded better when some of the lines rhymed, and it feels more comfortable talking in verse. Anyways, thanks for sharing this with the world.
