False Statements and Broken Promises

Why do I continue to accept the words that flow from your lips?
Why do I continue to grant your every need, your every wish?
Why do I give "us" my all?
Why do I sit by the phone and wait for your call ?
Nothing is as it seems,
Not even in my dreams.
You promised no more hurt,no more pain
But maybe it was in my head and I'm going insane.
Maybe I'm to far in love to realize the truth
Or maybe I'm getting a head in my youth.
What ever the reason maybe
That gives you no reason to lie to me.
Seems like the only thing you can deliver faithfully is
False statements and broken promises.
