Waiting
I was so ecstatic for my,
Date tonight with my love.
I spent the day on my outfit,
Which I am so proud of.
As I sit on this porch, waiting,
Watching every car fly.
Red, green, black, orange, and purple,
None held Mark, my guy.
I am done waiting in the rain,
After counting the stars.
He is not worthy of my pain,
He can go off to mars.
Why did he leave me all alone?
My mind is a show host.
A million questions all at once,
Is he just a jerk like most?
I text him then ending our love,
My heart is now shattered.
In traffic his car swerved and crashed,
Who knew that text mattered?
