just sitting right over there

takes a quick glance at you 

but is suddenly caught in your smile 

creating a wonderful connection 

where feelings become intertwined 

what only felt like 2 minutes together

was practically a lifetime 

the bond you now share 

is as if it can never be broken 

the only sad thing about it 

both of you now have something to lose

something that can turn all that happiness 

into sorrow and strife 

yet everything is still perfect 

he smiles when you walk by

and now all you can do is smile 

you are constantly thinking about him

the content thoughts keep you up all night 

And lead you through the days ahead

before you know it he says I love you
