People Pleaser
Picking flowers for those who aren’t noticed,
early mornings live for those who need to be there.
Ones who do everything for anyone—
partially because they can’t understand how to
like someone that wants to make them
ecstatic about life.
Part to those who are hurt so you can
lick their wounds and leave them to feel,
envious, not for you though, you’re there to
act on a feeling that’s fabricated to be
subtle and
empty.
Required to respond to those who need you.
