The social pool
Why do I want to be social
I forget me
I neglect me
Why do I even try
To bend every which way
For people that bring only pain
They abuse
Then amuse
Like nothing was broken
Their sight seems to only extend a slight
Farther then the night
I am left in
Faster my heart beats
Before I even move
With only a thought
Of how I could bruise
Under their hazings eyes
I just want to hide
But then my knight comes
And makes me face
From which I want to run away
Then I think
How I don’t know what is happening in their life
I hope they are alright
But for now I will sit in my pity
Don’t worry
The water is shallow
