Me And My Shadow
We all have a shadow
But, growin’ up I had two
We were always together, together we grew
My shadow looked just like me, all the way down to my nose
We shared everything, from our room to our clothes.
Through my heartbreaks and pain, she was always there
With my shadow, burdens were never mine alone to bare
My shadow will always be there, that’ll never change
It’s just me and my shadow.
Doesn’t that sound strange?
