Not So Alone

A hidden city in the clouds, oh how I would love to see it now- but down below where I am, all there is strain and exams.
Working hard each day, tearing away each page, making it through the day, and for what?
To come home to play, but at home, there's more work for the day.
Things used to be so simple, now what? I go to school and work at home, doing it all alone.
But wait! In this book I see, a savior stands with me; He says in his word, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee. Now I see, I've never been truly lonely.
