More Than Just Words
“I’m proud of you.”
Four words with the impact of a million.
a smile crept on my face,
a giggle escaping my lips.
with such certainty in your voice you add, “I just want you to know.”
heat rose in my cheeks.
my heart tightened as if God himself had His hand on it
contemplating if it's He who sent you.
Six simple words, yet they bestow clarity to my unsure mind.
