As I Think of You
On mornings like
The one of today
Do you mind my leave?
Do you wish I’d stay?
On noons like these
When the moon is all the sun fears
Do the puddles of the crying flowers
Remind you of my tears?
On sunsets like the one of today
Which I so very love
Is it me the only thing
You’re thinking of?
On nights like these
As cold, as blue,
Do you think of me
As I think of you?

This poem came to me one night. I was thinking about this boy, and I really couldn't quit thinking about him. The way I felt about him was unfathomably strong. It is unfair, I think, that sometimes we love people so passionately, even though we know within us that they will never return that affection.
