Expectations
Expectations, will I live up to them?
When my teammates, coaches, and others expect me succeed,
Will I succeed?
Or will I let them down and make my team lose?
Or will I win the game for my team?
Expectations, will I live up to them?
When my parents expect me to get good grades,
Will I get an A on my math test?
Or will I get a C?
Expectations, will I live up to them?
When my brothers gets good grades in school,
Will my parents expect me to do the same?
Or be mad at me for not doing as good as him?
When he got an A on his essay, and I got a b,
Will I be criticized?
Expectations, will I live up to them?
When others do better than me,
Will they put me below them?
When others expect a lot from me and I don't do what I am expected,
Will they be upset with me?

I hope people will receive the message that you will not always live up to expectations and that you wont always succeed.
