October
I love the brown orangey color of your knitted sweater, I love how your glasses fog up from the cold, and the wet brown leaves that are all bunched together at the end of your sidewalk, I love it because it's october, And it's you, the cold breeze shivering across my neck, to you giving me your scarf. It's October and it's us. Luckily that was last year because as much as I had fun, I hated every moment of it. The smoke of your cigarette being blown away from the cold breeze mimicking the cold breath of my mouth without lighting it. We fell in love in october, you told me i looked pretty with my red apple cheeks that felt like a popsicle, with the light freckles that you could see when you got close to kiss me, you said it looked like the stars. You said many things. To which I can blur whenever I look in the mirror.
