Stanley Mountain
Steep incline
Rough terrain
But i'd rather walk because it's better than an airline
Just hoping it doesn’t rain
Walk, Climb, Run, Jump, Swim.
Enjoy the time with the bees
Climbing this mountain
I am just a visitor in the land of the trees
Through the valley
Through the stream
Glad I'm not in an alley
I'd rather be with my cousin amongst the trees
Slip and slide
Like a penguin
A spike of adrenaline like a carnival ride
The cold water a surprise like an intervention
Falling behind
But almost to the top
We jump rock to rock
Trying to rejoin the flock
Make it to the top
A wide landscape, rigid view
Just don't slip and flop
Or your life will start anew
Easy descent
Stop in a stream on the way
Make it back down without a bone bent
Back out of the trees right onto the beltway
