Fear
You were eager tirelessly
Into a life where you’ve never been.
To the place where the endless fields, open spaces
Harshly interrupted the singing of the crane.
In whispers of silence, hidden away,
Let tears be released, no longer astray.
For you have fought the battle, tried to conceal,
The sound of sorrows that your heart did feel.
Think, dear
If you will discover yourself
In that tireless thirst of life,
In which you have never been.
