The Corpse Flower
She was an undeveloped corpse flower.
Amongst many developed bloomed roses’
They snickered at her,
Guffawed at her socially unacceptable red petals.
The corpse flower assisted the undeveloped tulips.
Made them feel safe, despite her own well-being.
Though, as soon as they became charming blossomed daisies.
They acted as if the corpse flower was a disease, an infection.
The corpse flower could only fake grin,
As her petals were ripped off one by one.
The corpse flower could only faux smile,
As her self-love was ripped away but to none.
And on one fateful day,
The corpse flower stood alone.
And on that fateful day,
The corpse flower could no longer smile anymore.

A poem about a 'socially unattractive' flower who is seen as a non-human due to their looks and really anything about themselves, and in the end they end up giving to the bullies and ending their own life.
