AUTUMN
Tricolor leaves
On light brown trees.
Fall so slowly.
Like fragile feathers,
Drifting in the air.
Light brown bark,
Filled with holes,
Little crevices
Scattered across the trunk.
Red and yellow leaves,
Lying in tall green
dewey autumn grass.
Squirrels scurrying around,
Searching for acorns,
Like a chicken with no head.
Birds humming a song,
Searching for a partner.
