AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL
“Two roads diverged in a wood,
And I -
I took the road less traveled by.”
For my whole life, I struggled to fit in.
School was always a struggle
I felt like I never belonged
So I never tried my hardest
Nothing really mattered
until I came across hockey
Something I loved
Something I cared about
I found an interest
I knew I was going to stick with
Whatever problems,
Whatever concerns,
Whatever stresses
I carry,
Disappear the moment
I step on the ice
Hockey has been the distraction,
The fantasy or dream
In a nightmarish world
Hockey has been my life
