Scarlett's Secrets
I could tell you
About how fast I’ve gone
The knees scraped
The wheelies held
But what I don’t talk about
What no one talks about
Is the feeling of serene freedom
Riding beneath the stars
Flying along the chicanes
Like film in a projector
The land plays a slideshow of its beauty
The moonlight on the lake glitters
Like swarovski never could
The dark
Which was so…
Scary
Before-
Is now a friend.
It holds more
Than the monsters in the closet
And the fear of being alone
It teaches what it means to be with
And without
To understand the value to have
To have not
Seeing less
Shows more
The lakes beauty sings a beautiful tune
Your eyes have never perceived such a song
Stars in the heavens
Create art
Before your very eyes
Scarlett guides you
The only company
On this lonesome journey
An ethereal feeling
Sends chills down your spine
Colder than the wind ever could
I find myself asking
Why does this sound
Through my soul
With the hum of a tuning fork?
The vibrations
Consume my conscious
I long for something to silence it and
She’s just the piano i’ve been looking for
