Peace In Chaos
Peace in the Chaos whatever may that be.
Rather if it's the singing of birds
or the chucking of squirrels,
rather it's the silence of the crickets
on a warm fall night,
or the Jingling of tags
as you play with your best friend,
or if it's the sound of wind brushing the tree leaves
only for a moment
along with an acorn drop in the leaf-covered marsh
only to be hushed by the roar of crickets.
Or the feeling of bark as you brush against a tree,
or maybe the sound of cars in the far-off distance,
so far off that they sound like an ocean,
with an occasional plane,
almost like a boat splitting the sky,
as a boat breaks the sea,
maybe the sun peaking over the trees to warm us all
goes down and the light turns golden,
maybe the sound of ducks and frogs them all alike.
Maybe this brings you peace in this crazy hectic world,
whatever it may be be sure to cling to it as long as it allows
for you might miss
what this world is all about everything
it has to offer.
