LEAVING THE GROUP
It feels old the life we lived,
We had operations like mils,
Behind our desktops and laptops it felt cool,
We could take a system down when we felt like it –
Why did we do this?
Because we could.
The group comprised of 400000 members,
Out of them 98% were 16yr olds,
Who were proficient in linux, C, python and “cool” stuff ,
We could write our own frameworks, sophisticated tools and malware,
We are behind the development of security,
We are its true authors,
We are its true modifiers,
In short we are its backbone,
But the life we lives is old,
I want to move away my eyes from the bright screen,
I want to move my fingers from the keys I’m glued to,
I want to be ejected from the system,
I want to leave the group.
