Love Cycle
Love is like a flower.
A seed is planted,
then roots begin to blossom.
Eventually, it sprouts
and grows immense and fervor.
It dances with passion,
through the winds and storms.
Tough neglected and abused,
it still flourishes delicately.
But at some point,
all good things must come to an end.
As the weather grows colder,
the flower grows frail.
The petals diminish to the ground,
One
By
One
Until eventually,
there is nothing left.

This poem is about how love resembles the life of a flower. That spark begins to bloom and it's beautiful. That love goes through so many stages, both sad and happy. But eventually, little by little that love begins to dwindle. In the end the flower (love) grows lifeless, but it will come again. That is the love cycle.
