Tomorrow
Sleepless dreams, withering means.
Tomorrow dwindles like fire.
Flickering eyes lying breaths.
Telling you.
There
Will
Always
Be
Tomorrow.
Sleepless, like lighthouses
Searching the abyss.
For the wills, that quiver alone.
Shadows dance dimly, like strobe lights.
Here, gone, like fruit flies.
Though circling weakened prey.
The vultures must bay.
Till the bodies retire.
Tomorrow
Won’t
Be
There
Forever.
As the mocking of birds resumes.
Shadows retreat, claiming spoils.
Light sings the melody.
Blinding tunes
Sheltering Harmony.
Blind kindling
That can never ablaze
But
There
Is
Still
Time
today
risk was never made.
Blossoming in shade.
Makes the gray’s insane.
Lessons blurred,
like gravel in blenders.
Loud, but unheard.
Time, unknown,
And culling emotions,
Nothing but
The iron cold stare.
But
Today,
There
Is
Still
Time
As darkness descend
To start it’s tyranny,
restless claws
Call for your sins
To Lie in the illusionary
of bountiful dreams.
But before you can lie in facades.
You are reminded.
Whether you're ready or not.
There is only so many tomorrows,
Till the reaper pays for your faerie.
So living illusion that ascends.
That there will always be
Tomorrow
