Summer
Summer! Summer! Summer!
The sunlight shines like butter.
The hot sun wakes up England,
The sunlight drizzles through the land.
The birds fly through the sky
Oh how they soar so high
The friends are so excited.
And the rest of the animals are just as delighted.
Many green leaves filling the tall trees
The humming birds singing oh so free
The sunlight casting a blanket putting winter to bed
Shine! Shine! Shine! Waking the flowers instead
Would you like to be in the sunlight
All the animals are thinking yes with might
The sun spreads: it is a beautiful scene
The amazing day falls and the night wipes it clean
