Ana
Oh mirror, my mirror, what do you see?
Do you see the heart, ripped apart?
Torn by the man, tarnished the girl..
Beneath the skin, beauty plays it’s part.
My stomach applauding, my mind begging.
Bound by your gaze, tethered by these chains.
I crave the release, the silence deafening,
My death of tragedy, is it’s comedy.
My stomach applauding, my mind begging.
I pray to you, as i ache.
Echoing in the halls of mind, i become lost in the mazes.
Slimming my silhouette, i give in.
Oh mirror, my mirror, let me be me.
Oh mirror, oh, mirror let me be free.

This piece is just kinda heartfelt to me because it details my experience with dysmorphia and many eating disorders.
