CHRISTMAS IS HERE
Jingle bells, Jingle bells,
Jingle all the way,
The trees are lit,
The gifts are wrapped,
Santa is on his way.
The angels ring the bells,
The reindeers pull the sleigh,
The church is filled with devotees,
And the ‘Midnight Mass’ echoes merrily,
Through the lamp-lit crossways.
The children sleep on Christmas Eve,
With socks hanging by the fireplace,
The joy-filled Christmas morn is greeted,
With gifts from old Santa,
Tasty pudding and plum cakes.
The year comes to an end,
With carols and ‘Merry Christmas’,
The chants of ‘Ho, ho, ho…’ fills the dead of night,
A mother’s voice calling her child,
‘Wake up dear, Christmas is here!’
