The Gift of Gab
A little bird
In the sky
Floats and glides.
Sighting a wiggly,
Wobbly worm,
Dive bomb!
"Welcome to the exhibit!
Your hunger,
Your fears
Are cast away."
Worms don't talk.
"Divide your prejudices,
Write them away.
Throw them into a bin,
And we will start
Anew.
For centuries,
A hierarchy.
Inevitable.
I have sights on
A way of living,
Unobstructed.
Never feed upon
An ocean
Of desire.
We shall save the world."
Gulp!
Fly away!
Tummy rumbling,
Beak spinning,
A snake sights
The bird.
"Welcome to the exhibit!
Your hunger,
Your fears
Are cast away."
Birds don't talk.
