Deep, Dark, Death
Wilted rose petals drift towards the ground
as water droplets slide off leaves small and round
The sky is grey
and it reminds me to pray.
The thunder of my sob's roar
and the raven and cardinals soar.
The tree shutters
making people mutter.
Finally,
there is no sound
All that is left is me and the mound.
Why, oh why!
I began to cry.
Why was it the end of his life?
I feel like my heart has been stabbed with a knife.
