Fire Poem
A new year brings a sense of self-reflection. You can look in the mirror and have no idea who is looking back at you. Some people shine bright while others can't find a spark.
But a spark can't last forever. Every fire eventually dies. Ambitions rise like ashes but all it takes is one person to stomp on them. You have to be able to ignite your own match. One match can make an explosion.
Be cautious of your words. Most forest fires are unintentional. Before playing with matches remember everyone has feelings. Feelings like matches are not to be played with.
Protecting your fire and destroying another are not equal. Distance yourself from those who extinguish your inner blaze. Surround yourself with those who let you shine. Letting go of loose threads allows you to truly feel your fire.
