Disintegration
You peak your eyes open,
Your innocent young eyes greeted with cardboard surrounding
You feel trapped between four walls, frozen
You feel the box shaking,
Your body flows left to right
Side to side from one side of the box to the other
Your wings hit
You feel the cold air from the outside protruding into the box
You feel your wings shaking, barely being able to flap
You feel beat and defeated
You want to give up but suddenly
Then you look up, seeing flaps open
Not your flaps but the sandy brown hard flaps,
Covering, locking you inside the four walls
You feel your instinct kick in
You instantly flap your wings through the flaps
You see your feathers breathe fresh air
You finally feel like you are alive, not just living
