Shoe
It is impossible to find me without sneezing.
Hidden on the back of the shelf –
I spend my days in the dark.
I am made of days in the park spent running through puddles –
Drawings of hearts and stars litter my sides
My once-white canvas is now stained brown and gray
I will stay here until one day when she finds me in the corner
and takes me out – remembering her glory days
