lily's lament
my daughter's birthright
my mother's gift
enlighten, jester, please do go on
(corners and tips of Lilith reach)
call me synchronicity
call me your lovely
aphrodisiac mother, lover
(the tips of my toes embrace the wood)
or so i thought, or so i'd imagine
as i lie my head to rest
and the silence stares
and the silence imitates
my every move;
“i’ll ridicule you for just standing there too”

I've always been very inspired by the symbol of Lilith outside of a solely religious context. When applied to quotidian life, Lilith encompasses a colorful array of a woman's experiences, including the innermost relationships with the rest of the world.
