Snow Day
Outside, the fresh snow falls with a flutter,
The white powder shining in the sun,
Soft as butter,
The kids have fun
in the blinding white light,
Greatly anticipating Christmas night.
And as the children rest their heads,
The sheets stay warm on their cozy beds.
They fall asleep in little shells,
And wake up to the sounds of Christmas bells.
Outside, the fresh snow falls with a flutter…
