I Forgive
What can i say-
I'm lost for words-
The things you done-
Thinking about them just hurts-
I've said it so many times- But do i believe it?
Do i want to?
My burden is mine to bare-
My sins are me to suffer for-
My problems will stem from my solution and if anyone says otherwise-
then i pay no mind-
For they know nothing-
Nothing of my pain-
Nothing of the pain i caused-
I am but a silent fraud-
For i speak nothing of value-
Yet the value of lies remain worthless- for there is to many of them that i speak-
The words i write-
The words i speak-
They are nothing but deceit.
i blame myself-
i blame my pain-
For in an ever-lying world-
Who am i to add to it?
Who am i to question the way of it?
Who am i to make it better?
Who gave me the right to choose a better path?
who allows me to forgive my past?
There is no forgiving you-
But there is no blaming you-
So what can i say?
I never done this-
Yet i stand here today-
I forgive-
The words feel like knives that stab my tongue
I forgive-
Gone are the days where i feel as if i do not belong-
I forgive-
Gone are My hands that tremble with the fear for my loved ones
I forgive-
I forgive the ones that gave me those burdens-
I Forgive-
I forgive the ones that lead me to sin-
I FORGIVE-
i forgive the ones who caused my heart to break-
I FORGIVE-
i say it so many times- yet i cant say it to myself
I FORGIVE-
i've said it so many times-
Yet not once have i heard "I'm Forgiven"
For that is where i am-
Beyond the shallow grave where my dreams reside-
My pain is the gargoyle that watches over it all.
