New Years
New year new me
But what's the true
Meaning of this phrase?
Every year we say this,
But do we really mean it?
Or are we saying it just to say it?
Is it really a new me,
Or is it just the old me with hopes for the future
But how long will these hopes last?
A month, a week, a day?
So is it really a new me
In this new year?
And as the clock
Tick tocks next December,
Would I be feeling the same way?
