Incapable
Of showing
What I feel
Instead
I let them
Tell you
What I need
Who I am
When I’ll
Come
When I’ll
Leave
So
How
Can you
Say
You see
Me?
Who is
Me?
I am
Not me
I am
A
Puppet
Guided by
Your words
Of deception
I knew what
I had
Learned before
Was true
By I chose
You
So
Now
I can’t
function
Without your
Hand in
My butt
Feeding me
More
lies
I am
Guided
I don’t
Make
Any
Decisions
I am
Incompetent
So
I let
Them
Tie me
Up
Let them
Teach
Me
How to
Slowly
Rot

Into nothing

The author's comments:
This piece is about peer pressure. People are always saying how we have to stay "above the influence". This is stating why we do. I slowly watched my 2 of my summer friends become overwhelmed with the pressure to do drugs. This is what i saw them become.

This is really good. I like your analogy a whole lot. Its true though because when people are like that they are only half themselves just like a ghost in only half way in our world.
