Among The Rubble
I remember things as they were –
Instant, spontaneous, beautiful,
And things as they are –
Silent, unresponsive, and gone…
I remember the times when I loved;
And lost,
When I lived,
And learned—
I found many reasons to change;
And I know why –
Because among the rubble of this broken friendship,
New life will spring up—
If the rocks of others don’t get in its way…

Are you ever going to say something that i need to change?
Thanks again Patience...;)
This poem is easy to relate to, because you're right -- we all have problems with our friends sometimes. I love your describing words: ex: instant, unresponsive
This is great! Another masterpiece by the great "Hannahbelle" :)
