XXX: I Know You Hear Me
XXX: Humanity
I share small, delightful treasures
with defensive, frightened listeners;
sideways eyes desperate to separate themselves from
the same dramatic associations, which are written off as pedantry or some form of
masturbatory self indulgence
in the attentions of the public.
My lips are swollen caricatures of themselves; the noises they emit are foolish mockery of the thoughts they scantily represent.
Black pen on flat paper doesn’t do much to assuage
the cavernous appitite of the extrovert.
